Where the Heck Have You Been?!

Hello! I feel so weird typing this out, it's been so long. Sorry for that but I have a few manis to show you to make up for it! Please forgive me for my long absences. School is really stressful and life is crappy and I'm just not in a good place right now. So I'm just going to show you pictures and let's pretend I'm a good blogger.

Lynnderella Mr. Pink over OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around

OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around

Valentine's Day! (see below)
That last manicure was what I wore for Valentine's Day and I have a cute story for you guys. My polish making stuff are at my boyfriend's house and for Valentine's Day, he surprised me and made me two custom polishes! Super sweet, right? The one on my ring finger is one of the customs named "Love Bug" and it's over OPI Pink Friday. The other fingers have two coats of CbL Sparkles are a Girl's Best Friend.

Funny story: I'm actually in class right now (I know, cost accounting from 8-12 on Saturday mornings SUCKS) and I completely and totally forgot how to use Photoshop for watermarks. Whoops!

What have YOU guys been up to lately? Thanks for reading! :D

Zoya Godiva

Hey girlies.

Sorry I've been gone for so long but I hadn't painted my nails since Chanel Taboo til yesterday when I did an ombre manicure but I didn't get a blog worthy picture so I only posted it on Instagram. If you'd like to follow me on there, my username is @my_reh_neh. Keep in mind that it's for personal use as well so you're gonna see more than nails.

Anyway, in my mini rant I bitched about my Zoya order. It came today! I couldn't decide which to use first but I finally picked the nude, Godiva. Godiva is amazing. All of the Pixie Dusts are. I love them so hard. I'm gonna shush and show you pictures.

Indoors

Shade
I paired it with $OPI Don't Feed the Hand Models and studs from Born Pretty. Don't forget to use my code at Born Pretty for 10% off! It's to the left of this post. Anyway, this is two coats of each color. Don't mind my nubs (nail break) and my raggedy ass cuticles (eczema). I hope the polish makes up for it. And the coral you're seeing on the bottle is not the polish, it's the reflection of my shirt...sorry hehe.

What do you think? Do you like the textured polish trend? Do you like this combo? Let me know, thanks for reading! :)

OPI My Very First Knockwurst + Spectraflair

Hey hey.

I finally got my hands in the OPI Germany collection! I got six of the twelve shades, but I'm going back for more! I really love this collection, it's such a strong fall collection. I love love love fall colors and OPI did NOT disappoint!

The color I chose today was one of the light neutrals, My Very First Knockwurst. It's a pinky nude, very light and flattering. I also received a Spectraflair top coat today from Etsy, a shop called Digital Nails. I have Spectraflair but it's the coarse grade and looking at the pictures, it looked like a fine grade Spectraflair. It was also in a suspension base, which I liked a lot. The packaging was really cute too, it came with bright colored confetti and it was wrapped really nicely. Really cute, I suggest you check out her shop if you are in the market for a Spectraflair top coat.

Here is the result of my manicure, two coats of the OPI, one coat of the Spectraflair, and a coat of Seche Vite.

Sorry for that really cropped out picture, I didn't like the background noise. I chose it because some nails are blurry and some are in focus and I feel it shows the holo nicely.

Bear in mind that holographic top coats show up a lot better on dark colors, so it may not be as holo as it would be over a coat of black, but it's still pretty holo. I like it, it's neutral and blingy. I can see someone wearing this to work because in dim lighting, you can barely see the holo. I also like that the spectraflair isn't so packed in here that it turns everything into a pastel. This didn't mask the base color at all. I really really like that. Again, highly recommend this top coat.

What do you think? Do you like the look of a nude with holo? Let me know! Thanks for reading!

Essie Demure Vixen Swatch

Hi girlies! So tomorrow I have to go to a school and do observations because I haven't changed my major yet. I need to dress 'business casual' and I'm not sure about the school policies on nail polishes or anything so I'm just gonna play it safe and go with very appropriate nails/makeup/clothes. Recently, my boyfriend's brother's girlfriend gifted me Essie Demure Vixen so I figured this would be a great time to wear it. Below is two coats with a coat of Out the Door:

Sorry about the cuticle cream on my index finger -_- anyways, I love this. It's a beige with this really pretty purple flash that's more visible in the bottle than on the nail but it shows up in the right lighting. Coverage was okay. This is two coats but i'm sure that if my nails were still longer, I would have needed a third. Dry time was average.

What do you think? Do you like it? Is it 'work appropriate' enough? Let me know, thanks for reading! :D

Classy Leopard Print Nails ft Orly Polishes!

Hey girlies! So in my recent Ulta haul, I picked up Orly Pure Porcelain. I AM IN LOVE! It's amazing and I love it and ahhh! So I decided to use it to do a leopard print mani, because I love leopard print :) I used another Orly, Prince Charming, for the spots, and an Art Deco black striper polish for the outlines. Here is what I got:

Here's my right hand, that rarely gets any love. I think it came out better. Ignore the polish on my pointer finger :b

What do you think? Do you like this? Are you over leopard print? Let me know! Thanks for reading! :D
