I've moved my blog sale

Hello and good morning!

It's a freezing day here in Jersey. I have an accounting exam followed by a federal tax law exam on Monday and I'm not happy about it. I also got a flat tire two days ago and I need new tires. So that sucks. But YOU can make me feel so much better! Wanna know how? CLICK HERE.

I swear it's not spam, it's just my blog sale that is now on Pinterest. So I guess now it's a Pinterest sale? I don't know, but please check out what I'm selling and shoot me an email if you're interested. US buyers only, I'm scared to ship to other countries haha. The link is also right up there ^ under the obnoxiously bright banner that says All the Pretty Polish, so if you want to go back to it, you can click there. Thanks for looking and have a great weekend! :)

Dance Legend Optical Illusion

Ello :)

I absolutely love holographic nail polish. I can't get enough. It's so sparkly and breathtaking and amazing and magical and all of those adjectives used to describe what appears to be some sort of voodoo/witch craft. I love holographic polishes!

One of the best holos I've come by are by the Russian brand Dance Legend. Kinda weird name for a nail polish company but I'm not gonna talk shit cuz I love their polishes. I don't have all of their holos (I'm missing 4 of them) that they've called their Prism line, but I hope to own them all some day. The one I have today is my favorite and I'm dying for a back up but I can't find it in stock anywhere. It's called Optical Illusion and it's the prettiest holographic you'll ever see in your entire life of living. Check it out:

(please ignore the dry cuticles, I'm not sure why they look so bad here)

I know, right? I'll give you some time to get a napkin to clean up the drool that made its way onto your keyboard while you were staring at these pictures.

The base for this is a wine/burgundy/reddish purple/the color that I'm sure dreams are made of. And the holographic effect is intense. I love it. I absolutely love it. Double rainbows? Try triple. This is like taking a holographic nail polish and putting it on steroids. The rainbows are so bright and strong and linear and OMG.

Perhaps one of the best aspects of the polish? It does NOT turn into a crappy silvery pastel mess in the shade. It's a beautiful wine/purple/all the stuff I said before color in the shade. I LOVE that. I hate how a lot of holos look gross in the shade. Not these. The Dance Legend holos have stolen my heart along with my money. And I'm not even mad about it.

You can get these polishes at Llarowe or Ninja Polish.

Do you have any Dance Legend polishes? Which are your favorite? Thanks for reading! :)

Enchanted Polish A Little Fishy Told Me

Hey girls! I know, I know. It's been forever. No excuses, just posts.

Today I'm going to show you an awesome polish made in honor of a beautiful angel. This is A Little Fishy Told Me by Enchanted Polish, made in honor of the beautiful late Talia Joy Castellano. It's a minty blue holo with duochrome shimmer that flashes blue and pink. Sounds amazing, right? IT IS! Here's an awesome bottle shot:

Look at the holo!! And the base color is beautiful! AH! Here's a swatch taken in full sunlight:

Stunning, right? I can't get over how beautiful this polish is! I used two coats by itself in the picture. The formula was perfect. Smooth, pigmented, and non-streaky.

What do you think? Do you like it? ALSO: Do you guys want me to include macros of the bottles from now on? I think it adds a little something extra to the posts. Let me know. If I get no opposition, I'll keep posting the bottle shots. Let me know what you think! Thanks for reading! :D

Mainstream Lacquer TBBT Swatches

Hey girlies!

Two posts in one day because I'm really backed up on posts. I'm sorry for my two month break, work and stuff just had me going crazy. I'm sick now though so that means I have time to post!

As you may know, my boyfriend and I are the owners and creators of Mainstream Lacquer. We have put out a new collection based on The Big Bang Theory and I have swatches to share with y'all!

First up we have Penny Blossoms, a clear base with gold square, gold dot, caramel hex, brown hex, pink dot, and pink square glitter. Above is one coat over Color Club Who Are You Wearing?

Next up is Brown Dynamite (which is what Raj thinks his astronaut nick name would be). It's a clear base with all square glitter in red, blue, gold, green, and purple. Shown is one coat over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.

Up next is Are Those Space Pants You're Wearing? which was inspired by those cheesy pick up lines that Wolowitz loves so much. It's a black jelly base with blue dot, blue square, green square, purple square, and large fuschia dot glitter. Above is two coats on its own on my ring finger and pinky, and one coat over black on my pointer and middle fingers. I probably should have done three coats on its own since it's a little splotchy on my pinky.

Here is King of the Nerds, which is how Leonard identifies himself. It's a grey jelly base with white hex, teal square, black square, and white micro glitter. On my pointer and middle is two coats on its own and on my ring and pinky is two coats over SOPI Frankly I Don't Give A-dam.

Here is Sheldor the Conqueror which is Sheldon's nickname on an online game. It's a clear base with red, white, yellow, and baby blue glitters in it. Shown is one coat over SOPI Frankly, I Don't Give A-dam

And lastly, here is Our Whole Universe which is a clear base with all of the glitters used in this collection. Here is one coat over black and grey bases.

To purchase our polish, click right HERE. Or you can click on the tab at the top of the page, right under my banner!

What do you think? Do you like these colors? Are you guys TBBT fans? Let me know, thanks for reading! :)

The Nail Collection Review

Hey girlies! Today I have a different kind of review post. Rather than reviewing a polish, I'm reviewing a subscription box service. The lovely Ana of thenailcollection.com contacted me and asked me to review her service on my blog. This is an unbiased opinion about her service.

The subscription box costs $30 a month and you receive four full size bottles of polishes. These aren't indie polishes, they're mainstream polishes like OPI, Essie, China Glaze, Orly, and Zoya. You don't get to pick the colors, but I think that adds to the fun of the box!

The polishes come in a box (duh) and they are in black tissue paper filled with confetti. The polishes are packaged very well and I had no leaks or spills or breaks. I received Zoya Thandie, OPI Innie Minnie Mighty Bow, and Essie Rock the Boat and The Girls are Out. I did do some swatches but I'm not satisfied with them so look forward to better ones soon!

Overall, I think this is a great subscription box! I like that the collections are current and the colors in the box I got (which I'm told was the August box) were suited to the season. For $30, you're getting four polishes that cost up to $9 each on their own, so you are saving a bit of money too!

To learn more about The Nail Collection and/or sign up for your own box, click on over to www.thenailcollection.com! You can cancel or skip a month at any time, so if you can't afford it on any given month, you have the option to skip it. I also think that's very thoughtful.

What do you think? Do you subscribe to any of these kinds of boxes? Let me know, thanks for reading! :)

Enchanted Polish Kids

Hey girlies!

I'm loving holographics lately. I love them. I can't get enough. Today I have Enchanted Polish Kids from their Time to Pretend collection. It's a multichrome holographic polish. The base color is a teal/green and it goes to blue, purple, pink, orange, and gold. Lookie here:

Here's a picture that shows some of the shift:

Look at the edges of the bottle in that last pic. Those are the colors this polish flashes. I can't capture it because my cameras suck and the lighting sucks and there's no space for a lightbox here so I'm stuck with natural light but the sun was going down and it was already cloudy and this is a huge run on sentence but I don't really care because I mean just look at the bottle in the picture. And it's a holographic. OMG. I love this. The formula was draggy on the first coat but I did a thicker second coat and it was perfect. I'm sure the humidity played a huge role in the dry time so I'm not going to comment on that. I just know that I am in love with this polish!

What do you think? Do you like it? What's your favorite Enchanted Polish? Let me know, thanks for reading!

Holographic Sangria

Hey girls hey!

So lately I've been digging cranberries and browns and deep reds...and holos, of course. I'm dying for Llarowe to launch Lilypad Lacquers so I can get my grabby little mitts on True Blood...but until then, I made a cranberry spranken to hold me over because I also wanted a cranberry colored holo. I made this from scratch. Just base, pigments, and spectraflair. Good thing I make my own polish and had all of that lying around, right? Ha, here's my spranken, which I've named Sangria.

Sangria in the shade

Sangria with flash

I don't know about you but I LOVE this! It's so pretty and sparkly and shiny and YAY! Haha I really am in love with this and I didn't think I'd be able to make something that I like this much.

What do you think? Do you like it? Let me know, thanks for reading! :)

Lush Lacquer Clowning Around

Hey girlies!

Today I have an indie polish to show you! Even though I make my own indie polish, I still support others by buying theirs. I swear it's because I want to support indie polishes, not because I'm a crazy polish lady...hehe..anyway.

I've seen a lot of IG girls use this polish over white and pair it with a neon polish so that's how I chose to do mine because I'm unoriginal and boring. Blah. Anyway, here is Clowning Around by Lush Lacquer over Sinful Colors Snow Me White, with China Glaze Heat Index on my ring and pinky fingahs.

Isn't this so cool? The transparent neon glitter is awesome! They're launching a new collection on Friday that's full of neon glitter polishes! I'm really excited. My bank account isn't.

What do you think? Do you like this combo? What did/would you pair Clowning Around with? Let me know, thanks for reading! :D

$OPI is going bye bye!

Hey girls, did you hear? Sephora by OPI is getting discontinued! Apparently they are being replaced by the Sephora brand which is apparently readily available overseas...? Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I heard on the interwebz. Anyway, what I do know is that they are 50% off! That's $4.50 each...GREAT deal!

Today was a bad day so I painted my nails one of my favorite $OPIs to cheer myself up. This is Havana Dreams, a beautiful pale blue. On my ring finger is a franken I made with a used bottle of HD and some Color Club Harp on It :)

Sorry for the grease ball fingers, my nails were really dry and needed lotion.

What do you think? Are you sad to see $OPI go? Did you buy any or are you planning on buying any? Let me know, thanks for reading! :)

Zoya Godiva

Hey girlies.

Sorry I've been gone for so long but I hadn't painted my nails since Chanel Taboo til yesterday when I did an ombre manicure but I didn't get a blog worthy picture so I only posted it on Instagram. If you'd like to follow me on there, my username is @my_reh_neh. Keep in mind that it's for personal use as well so you're gonna see more than nails.

Anyway, in my mini rant I bitched about my Zoya order. It came today! I couldn't decide which to use first but I finally picked the nude, Godiva. Godiva is amazing. All of the Pixie Dusts are. I love them so hard. I'm gonna shush and show you pictures.

Indoors

Shade
I paired it with $OPI Don't Feed the Hand Models and studs from Born Pretty. Don't forget to use my code at Born Pretty for 10% off! It's to the left of this post. Anyway, this is two coats of each color. Don't mind my nubs (nail break) and my raggedy ass cuticles (eczema). I hope the polish makes up for it. And the coral you're seeing on the bottle is not the polish, it's the reflection of my shirt...sorry hehe.

What do you think? Do you like the textured polish trend? Do you like this combo? Let me know, thanks for reading! :)

Chanel Taboo

Hey guys!

Here's a lemming fulfilled :) Chanel Taboo is so beautiful. You guys know I'm not opposed to dropping a bit more than usual if I really like the polish (Lynns, I'm looking at you) but for some reason, I didn't want to drop $27 for this one. I went to the mall earlier with my mom so she could pick out an early Mother's Day gift (she's picky) and of course we wound up in Lord & Taylor. My mom's addiction is perfume and her expensive taste brought us to the Chanel counter. She picked out Chanel No. 5 as her present, and because I did such a selfless thing in buying it for her, I treated myself with Chanel Taboo. I regret nothing...right now. I'm sure my bank statement will cause some regret but, meh. Life's too short to not do what you want, right?

Anyway, this polish is SO difficult to capture accurately. Holy crap, is she pretty, but she doesn't like pictures. Both my mother and I gasped when we saw her in the sun. Breathtaking. A pain in the ass to capture on camera, but still breathtaking. Here's some attempts:

Sun

Indoor with Flash

Shade with Flash
The formula on this was wonderful. As it should be, it costs way to much for a bottle. This is 3 OPI bottles...Anyway, I love it but I hate that pictures don't show the blue shimmer that makes this so unique. The base of this reminds me of OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest. It's not the same but they remind me of each other. You can see an AWESOME comparison of the two by Gotham Polish HERE.

What do you think? Do you like this polish? Is it worth the $27 to you, or am I just crazy? Let me know, thanks for reading! :D

You've Seen These Before...

Hey girlies! So unless you've been off of the internet for these past few months, you've seen something similar to the nails I'm going to show you. They've been floating around Pinterest and Instagram for so long. I won't post the original picture because I don't have a website to link it to. I will say, however, that I found who the nails belong to! Her Instagram name is @selenadee_nails and her work is AWESOME! I've recreated her infamous (I say infamous because boy oh boy has it been stolen a million times) mani and added a b&w glitter to the pink nails. Here's the look:

I used chevron decals from Make it Stick. They were kinda tricky to apply but I like the effect. I used Color Club Warhol and China Glaze Glistening Snow.

What do you think? Do you like this manicure? Let me know, thanks for reading! :D

Hare Polish Let Them Eat...What?

HAY!

So I've been MIA because my nails suck atm...I've been posting on instagram because I feel as though I can get away with it because the pictures are tiny on my phone...but even so I stopped posting my nails on there too. It's my stupid eczema... elgh. ANYWAY, I've been trying to up my indie collection. I'll get into why a bit later.

I decided to get some Hare polishes off of Llarowe. I wanted Roccoco Grandeur but they were sold out *pout* but I did get 5 really awesome ones. One of which is Let Them Eat...What?

LTE...W? is awesome. It's a creamy, off-white base with bright orange, pink, gold, and satin white glitters. It's so friggen gorgeous. I layered 2 coats of it over 2 coats of Orly Powder Puff. The Orly is really streaky but the Hare covered that. Here's the pictures:

Indoor Lighting

Shade (from the window)

Bottle Close Up
I tried to take a close up picture of the bottle! :) Let me know if that helps any.

The formula on this was...eh. At first stroke it was beautiful. The next nail, it was goopy as hell. After that I had to mix it between nails... I don't know what's going on. It's so pretty though, so it's worth it.

How do you like the polish? I LOVE it. Let me know, thanks for reading! :)

First Day of Spring with Color Club Angel's Kiss

Hey hey! Happy SPRING!!

I loooove springtime. It's the perfect weather...not too hot, not too cold. Light cardigans (to cover up my fat haha) but nothing too heavy to weigh you down. Flowers start to bloom, you can enjoy the sun because it's not freezing out...beautiful. I love spring.

Spring always makes me think mint. Mint green is such a great spring color, no? I love it. I wanted to use a mint color but I also wanted to use a holo polish because of the sun. I then remembered the manicure that @lacquerella did on Instagram. Hers was purple but I recreated it in mint green. Here's what I gots:

Flash

Shade

Sun

Flash in Shade

Sun

Well, there ya have it, my spring manicure. The ring finger base is Essie Mint Candy Apple, my most used shade. Did I ever mention that I have 5 bottles of MCA? Yeah...I'm not ashamed.

What did you do for the first day of spring? Do you like this mani? Let me know, thanks for reading!

Cult Nails Wicked Fast Top Coat Review

Hi girlies.

Let me start off by saying that if you like this top coat, leave this page. Seriously, I have a feeling I'm gonna get yelled at for what I'm going to say about this top coat. If you like it and it works for you, I'm very happy for you but you're not going to want to read this if you're a devoted Cultie. I'm being completely honest in this review. I wasn't sent this for review or anything like that, this was purchased. Not that anyone's gonna think I got paid for this, considering. Anyway, just be warned that this is a brutally honest review and I'm not going to hold anything back. Okay? Okay.

I know I said I would wait until I was halfway done to do my review but I just tried it again hoping it would get better and this is the last straw. Kind of like the straw that broke the camel's back. Only nail polish. The coat that chipped the polish? I don't know, I'll have to think of something. Where do I even begin?

Let's start with the physical bottle, I guess. The brush itself is pretty good. It doesn't reach the bottom of the bottle but most brushes don't. The handle is rather annoying. It's round and the same width as the rest of the bottle, so it's kind of awkward to hold, especially since we're used to thinner handles that fit into our hands better. Now, admittedly, I have small hands so maybe this won't be a problem for people with larger hands but for me, it was uncomfortable. The bottle design is pretty. The fact that it's one same shape throughout is aesthetically pleasing, although not ideal, as mentioned above. It looks nice. It really does. The cute logo on the front is nice, too. Not the bland type of font that's found on OPI bottles but not the weird, elementary school board font found on Finger Paints. Again, it's aesthetically pleasing.

Now to talk about what's inside the bottle...the top coat itself seemed promising. Everyone raved about it, how it's the holy grail of top coats. I gave into said hype and that's why I got a bottle. Well, asked for one for Christmas. The first time I used it, it was great. Not as fast or as shiny as Seche Vite, but still fast and shiny.

Now, I didn't want to compare it to Seche Vite because I didn't think it was fair: Cult Nails is a much smaller brand than Seche. Seche has been around longer (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) and as a company, it's much bigger than Cult Nails. I am going to compare them, however, because a) it's something most of us have tried so it's a good reference point, and b) they're both marketed as quick drying top coats so it's not like I'm comparing apples to oranges. Therefore, I will compare the two at times.

Anyway, back on topic. The next time I used it, it was goopier. It left drag marks on my nail polish and everything. I chalked it up to user error and gave it a try next time I did my nails. That time, it smudged my nail art. Now, I'm a bit more of a perfectionist than most so I took it off even though the smudges were small, but I think it would've bothered anyone. After that I decided not to use it on nail art, just plain manicures. I used it next over a red...because it was goopy and smeared before, I let my nail polish dry before using it. And I don't mean dry as in "Oh, it's been five minutes since the last coat so it has to be dry by now" I mean dry as in I could tap my nail with the free edge of another nail and not get a dent. I put this top coat on and it picked up the polish! I was furious.

Now that I look at my bottle, I see that it is cloudy. Not super cloudy, but cloudy enough that it bothers me. I've used maybe 1/4 of the bottle and it's already giving me all of these problems... I'm not sure if maybe I just got a bad bottle or something? I don't know, but I don't see why people rave about it at all. Seche gets a bad rap for shrinking, which this does too after it gets goopy.

Let's compare: Seche doesn't pick up color, this does. Seche dries really fast, this dries slower. Seche is super shiny, this is a bit more dull. Seche can be used on wet polish, this can't or else it'll pick up the color or never dry. Seche doesn't smear nail art, this does... Also, when Seche starts to shrink, I know that thinning it will make it all better. This top coat does have one thing going for it, in my book: for the first few times I used it, it made my polish last longer than it would have with Seche. The times after that, the top coat got me so mad that I took off my polish.

Now, I'm not knocking the brand at all. Cult Nails has some awesome nail polishes. And I love the fact that Maria was a nail blogger and made her own brand and it's successful. I love the back story and the colors. It's just that this top coat does not do it for me. Will I buy the top coat again? Absolutely not. In fact, I've decided that I'm only going to use it for pedicures in the winter. Will I buy their nail polish? Absolutely. Again, I'm not knocking all Cult Nails products, their top coat just does not work for me. And that's okay, what works for some people will not work for others. I understand that.

Now, if you want to try this top coat for yourself, the website is www.cultnails.com. I'd love to know how this top coat worked for you guys. Is it just that I got a bad bottle? Again, this may work for you. I'm just sharing my experiences with the top coat. Let me know what yours are!

As always, thanks for reading!

Glitter Gal Crushed Ego

Hey guys. Sooo...about my absence... If you follow me on Instagram, you already know that my grandfather passed away. He had a bunch of heart problems and liver problems and kidney problems for a long time but recently they found lung cancer that spread rapidly and ultimately killed him...that's part of the reason why I took another absence. Another part is that school is SO stressful. Sweet Jesus, school is a pain. But I'm back now.

Today I have Glitter Gal Crushed Ego which looks bad in my pictures because I used top coat and it ate my holo. Honestly, I do not like Wicked Fast top coat as much as I thought I would. But that's a post for another day. Here's two coats with Wicked Fast:

The formula on this was bad. Well bad for a regular polish, decent for a holo. I'm gonna thin it out a bit, it was really goopy. That mixed with my shakiness equaled to a bad manicure. Meh. I'll probably change it tomorrow. It looked a lot more holo before the top coat, I promise. Now, in indoor lighting, it just looks like a dark purple creme. Meh.

What do you think? Do you like this? Let me know, thanks for reading!

Lynnderella Elf Love

Ello puppets.

I have another Lynn to show you today. I think this is the one I wanted the most and oh boy, it did not disappoint. It's Elf Love from her Season's Glitterings collection. It is made up of predominately white glitter with magenta, aqua, and some green glitters thrown in, all of different sizes and shapes. There's also a magenta micro glitter that makes it...different? I don't know, it's beautiful. I layered it over OPI Mod About You, because it's close to Valentine's Day and I wanted to wear pink. Here's a pickacha:

ERMAHGERD, right? God this is awesome. The formula was great, no fishing for glitters and it spread nicely and evenly. Not too thick or thin. I love it. :)

Also, I changed the fonts on my blog...do you like them? Can you even see them? I love them. If you can't see them, they're the fonts I used as my watermarks.

What do you think? Do you like this glitter? Which Lynns do you have? Let me know, thanks for reading! :)

OPI Polka.com

Hey hey hey.

Today I have one of the OPI Euro Centrale polishes to show you, Polka.com! Polka.com is an awesome glitter topper that has pink, turquoise, and purple glitters in it of different sizes. I loveee it. I'm craving spring so I wanted to put it over a light color, and for some reason I chose white. Here's two coats of Polka.com over Alpine Snow:

I didn't like it and probably should have taken it off at this step but I planned on jelly sammiching it so I put two coats of Don't Touch my Tutu! over it...Here's that:

Better, but I still didn't like this combination... I'm gonna try it over other colors when I get my other picks from this collection. Don't get me wrong, the glitter itself is great. I just didn't like it over Alpine Snow. Maybe if I would have used Funny Bunny... I don't know. I took this off after the pictures.

Anyway, I ordered a few indie polishes so expect to see those soon. Do you have a favorite indie brand? I want to increase my indie collection. :)

What do you think? Do you like this? Horrible layering aside, how do you like the glitter? Let me know, thanks for reading! :)

Color Club Eternal Beauty

Hey hey!

Today I have a new Halo Hues color to show you. Well, I don't know if it's part of the Halo Hues line or if Color Club is naming this collection something else... Everything was really hush hush. I got these online from a trusted seller so when they posted that they never released new colors, I was confused but then the next day they said it was okay and then I was more confused but all of that confusion stopped when I opened the package in the mail. HOLY HOLO!!

This new set of holos are brighter, darker colors than the original pastels. I love love love them! There's even a black one that I'm sure I'll swatch next...but onto the one I'm wearing today. It's called Eternal Beauty and it is a medium purple holo. I love love love it. It's really holo, even in low light. Formula was kinda thick and goopy on this. I put some thinner in it and it was perfect. The other new holos have a good formula from what I can tell. I love this. Here's a picture:

With Flash (please ignore the comma in the watermark -_-)

Stop drooling... haha, isn't she a beaut? I love love love this. I think this is the most times I've used "love" in a blog post hehe.

Now I'm not sure about purchasing information. I'll let you know when I know more. I know that you can order from @justricarda on instagram. I've never bought from her but she is a verified trusted seller on there (I follow quite a few people who buy polishes from her and no one has ever complained).

What do you think? Do you like this? Let me know, thanks for reading! :D

Lynnderella Pentimento

Hey girls!

SO before I get started, please please please please please do not judge me for buying Lynnderella after all of that drama and bull that went down. I may not agree with everything and how it was handled but I have to admit that the woman makes amazing polishes. So any negative comments...or comments about any of that drama, for that matter, will be deleted. Just a fair warning.

Today I have my first ever Lynnderella polish to show you. I didn't really understand the hype that there was over Lynnderella polishes. I mean, anyone can throw glitter into suspension base, right? Well, although I'm not going to drop mad money to own every single Lynn polish ever, I will buy the ones I like because she does make some really, really gorgeous polishes. The one I chose as my first is Pentimento. Pentimento is a multiglitter that's heavy on the white. And heavy on the multi, too. There's over 100 different types of glitter in this one. There's big glitter, small glitter, micro glitter, bar glitter, matte glitter, shiny glitter, holo glitter, dark glitter, light glitter, hex glitter, square glitter, bright glitter...you get the point.

I chose to layer it over my favorite spring-time shade, Essie Mint Candy Apple. I loooove MCA and I have 5 bottles of it to prove it. I would show you a picture of that on its own but when I went to take a picture I smudged a nail so I couldn't. I just placed a hex glitter over it and it was good to go haha. Here's what it looks like:

With Flash

No Flash

The formula on this was great, no fishing for glitter at all. And it better be that way, for the $22.50 price tag. It was not too thick or too thin, and it smoothed onto the nail very well, if that makes sense...let me try to explain. You know when you have a really dense glitter that is thick and you apply it and the glitter lumps and the clear base creates these weird streaks/brush strokes? Yeah well this didn't do that, lol. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and I have another Lynn on the way.

What do you think? Do you like this combo? Have you taken out your spring polishes yet? Let me know, thanks for reading! :D

I don't know if you'll care but...

... I got my wisdom tooth yanked out yesterday! I'm in pain but they gave me Vicodin so I'll be okay.

It was not as scary as I thought it would be, which pleases me. It was so...quick. They put me under general anesthesia...this is exactly how it went down for me: nurse walks me in and sits me down, puts blood pressure machine on me and these weird clasps on my wrists and a thing on my finger. The dentist comes in and asks some questions, tells me I'm gonna feel a little sting (which was a lie, it was a big sting) as he put the needle in my hand. I felt pressure in my hand, then my arm... I looked away, blinked, and my boyfriend was in the room telling me to get my stuff. I didn't feel a damn thing. It was so quick... I didn't even feel like I was sleeping, it just felt like a blink. It was pretty awesome. Now I'm in pain and it hurts to swallow sometimes but I think I'll be fine.

Which is great because school starts today. I know what you're thinking: oh great, now she has school and will post even more sporadically... NO! Not true. I will be doing my nails at least twice a week: Sundays because they keep me locked up...by they I mean my parents even though I'm 20 years old and should be able to have a social life....but that's besides the point; and Wednesdays because my boyfriend has a 6 hour organic chemistry lab and I have nothing else to do so those two days I'll probably do nail art...

Speaking of nail art, I want to get more into it. I really don't want to just do swatches anymore. I want to get into some pretty nail art. I bought some stamping plates that will hopefully get me inspired. I actually have a manicure to share today that features some stamping! (see, this post isn't all just blabber, haha) Let me showwww you:

This is two coats of OPI Care to Danse? with a glitter gradient of Different Dimension That is SO Fetch! on all fingers except my ring fingers, which I stamped a unicorn on (from MASH plate no. 39). Not sure if you can see the unicorn because I used a silver holo (Color Club Harp On It) to stamp it... let's see if I can possibly enhance the colors or something on photoshop... *goes to work*

Not sure if that helped... I suck at PhotoShop. In fact, the only reason I know how to watermark my pictures like that is because of Nailed It's tutorial... heh. Hopefully you can see it better? If not, take my word for it. It's a unicorn. A holo unicorn. It's pretty badass.

Also, I'm wearing Wicked Fast topcoat by Cult Nails here. I like it so far. It didn't dry as fast as I heard about but it dried fast enough and my mani still looks fresh today (I did these on Sunday morning). It's not as self-leveling as I'm used to with Seche Vite but it does level itself pretty nicely and it doesn't dry as hard as Seche so hopefully I won't get those weird cracks in my polish. Full review of the top coat after I've used up half a bottle because I feel that by then, I will know it well enough to review.

Now, dear reader, there is something that I need from you. Yes, you. Do you have any ideas for nail art that I can try? I've done leopard (many many times as it is my favorite print) and zebra. I want to try chevron and tribal nails. Maybe something floral (but not like the vintage roses I did before)... I don't know. I need some inspiration. Help? Please? :-*

So what do you think? Do you like this combination? How about that unicorn? Any nail art ideas? Let me know! Thanks so much for reading! :D
