I love you guys.

How I have any followers left is beyond me... I've been a really shitty blogger. And for a while, too. I guess you guys just really like my rants? I don't know, but thanks for sticking around.

So what's been up with ATPP? Here's a little recap:

got my power back...broke a nail...grew them out...got sick...got better...broke another fucking nail...grew them out...got an abscess on my wisdom tooth...face went back down to normal size...found a big ass peel on my nail...now I'm here.

I know what you're thinking: this girl is such a liar. She can't possibly have all of those bad things happen to her right after the other like that. Well, that's where your wrong. See, when you have bad luck like I do, shit like this happens. A lot. A hell of a lot.

About my nails: They're nubs. So you won't see them for another week. But you know I will blog because I have more bornpretty stuff to review, so I will be blogging soon.

About my wisdom tooth: It's ridiculous. Thanksgiving night it was bothering me. I took a pill and went to sleep. I woke up and looked like a chipmunk. My face kept swelling so I went to the ER and they told me it was a dental abscess. They gave me pills and antibiotics and told me to go to a dentist. Turns out it is hard as hell to find a dentist that takes my insurance around here. I gave up and went to my boyfriend's dentist. Payed $50 for the dentist to see me for a total of 5 minutes...just to tell me that I have an impacted wisdom tooth that got infected and that I need to see an oral surgeon. After a few hours on the phone with my insurance provider and multiple oral surgeons, I got an appointment for Tuesday. They're going to see if this other dentist is right, and if so, set up a date for me to get my wisdom tooth yanked out. As you can probably tell, I'm super excited about it...for any of you Sheldons out there, that was sarcasm.

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I have been painting my nails and posting pictures on there. You may not have known all of that ^^ but now you do.

So what the hell have I done this past...month? Crocheted my fat little fingers off. I'm now selling some of my creations. I make the cutest little girl hats. I make boy hats too but they don't get the little flower on them that is so damn cute. If anyone's interested, I'll post pictures on here. I may open an Etsy store for them, who knows.

Anyways, how are YOU guys? I want to know! How was your Thanksgiving? What's on your Christmas list? I missed you guys! As always, thanks for reading :-*

  1. This post made me laugh. I'm not sure why maybe because I can relate, and I feel so much like you about the ridiculous situations that happen right after something else gets better. It's just like....really?!
I try not to stress about things so much anymore because I've learned the more you stress the more problems arise.
About the abscess I'm so sorry! That has to be painful. I hope you get everything done ASAP so it can all be done and over with.
I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed while they were still under my gums. I took about 4 painkillers the entire time I was healing, because I was also breastfeeding a 1 month old. It's not all that scary as it seems. Healing is painful, but not as painful as I imagined.
I just had a root canal (which, I think, was more painful) and 4 days before I got my root canal my mom took me off her insurance. I had to pay 770 dollars that the insurance would have paid, so 1200 all together. I still need to get my crown which is 950. We are trying to move out of my bfs sisters apt since we are going through a lot of problems and this just made us have to stay longer! About 2 days ago her 6 yr old daughter dropped a skateboard on my sons face when he was laying on his back. The metal part that holds the wheels hit him right on his nose and mouth. Of course his sister said it was an accident, and didn't get her in any type of trouble. I saw everything though and for a second I even thought his nose was broken. She just acted like it was no big deal, ignored what my bf tried telling her and went upstairs like nothing ever happened.
I understand what its like to have one thing happening after another. We should just make blogs about the shitty things that go on in our lives lol. It helps so much to get things out especially when you don't have anyone to get those things out to. Don't worry though about blogging we all have a life that gets in the way :)

    1. For starters, is your son okay?! I would have been SO angry.. Also, all 4 wisdom teeth at the same time?! Whoa...that sounds so painful D: And ouch, that is a lot of money... my boyfriend had to pay close to $2000 for his root canal... I do NOT want to pay that much money... and yes, we should DEFINITELY start a blog about the shitty things. We can take submissions and everything. It'd be a great way for people to vent haha. Also, your comments always make me feel better. You have a way with words, I guess. *hug* thank you. :] I hope the shitty things happen less frequently, ha. :]

  2. When I read "got my power back...broke a-" For some reason I though it said you broke your back. I'm glad you didn't.

I just had all my wisdom teeth pulled like 2 months ago. It's great. I'm not even kidding. The first day I don't remember anything and the rest of the time I was sore. And from what I understand about abscess, they are much more painful then having a tooth removed. But that seems like an awful lot of stuff to go through to get your tooth out. The convo with my dentist was "You're going to need to have those teeth out". I went home looked at my calender called back about half an hour after I left my appointment and booked. It probably helps that my dentist is also a surgeon.

The worst part of the whole thing was I still can't have popcorn for another month.

I just did a comedy show tonight! It went amazingly :)

    1. OMG no, I did not break my back haha, thank goodness. And again, all four at the same time sounds so painful D: I'm freaking out over getting just one pulled. And hopefully you're right about the abscess being more painful, because I don't think I'd be able to handle it if it were more painful than what I have already gone through.. And oh no, I LOVE popcorn...how long did you have to go without it? Also, a comedy show? That sounds pretty friggen awesome! I'm glad it went so well :D

  3. Your hilarious! I hope things turn up for you I get on that bad luck streak boat quite often! And Kas is right abscess's are way worse than having your wisdom tooth removed so you will be doing great and easy as pie! Sounds good anyways! Just don't drink out of any straws the sucking from a straw can cause a dry socket which is also horrid! lol
