Watermarble!

Today I have something awesome to show you. Its... *drumroll, please* ... WATER MARBLE! :) I was so hesitant to try this because of the huge mess... believe you me, this makes a HUGE mess... below are my nails after 2 clean ups and a shower and there's still polish everywhere so please excuse that. We all know I hate messy cuticles but I honestly can't help it. Let me stop blabbering and show you the awesomesauce that is my manicure:

awkward shot of both of my hands.

Colors used: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear: White On, Blue It, and Celeb City, and a Brucci polish named Victoria's Blue Eyes.

What do you think? Are you loving these? Let me know! Thanks for reading!

  1. Your water marble looks amazing! To minimize the cleanup, I tape around my nails with scotch tape. It works fairly good.

  2. Thank you! And I did that, but I guess I left too much space between my nail and the tape... Oh well, now I know for next time! :D

  4. Don't be scared, Desiree! What I learned from my first encounter was to use disposable cups (I used 3 oz dixie cups and they worked fabulously), use newspaper to protect the surface you're working on, and that toothpicks don't work well for the swirling, I used a pencil. ALSO, make sure to wipe the tip of whatever you're using to swirl it after every swirl or there'll be a huge glop of polish there and it'll mess up your design /: but it was REALLY fun! You should try it, I'd love to see it :)
